Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao will hoist the national flag at the Golconda fort to mark the 70th Indian Independence Day celebrations in the State at 10 am on August 15th.
On the occasion, Hyderabad is expected to turn all glittery as the CM has asked the concerned officials to illuminate important structures such as the Assembly, the Secretariat and its connecting roads, NTR Marg, the Necklace Road, and other important offices and historic monuments.
As per an official statement from the CM's office, the following ministers will also begin celebrations by hoisting the national flag in their respective constituencies:
