KCR Spends More On Publicity Than On The Schemes: TDP
Referring to the full-page ads for the Reddy hostel complex, the TDP said the CM was spending more money on the publicity than on the initiative itself.
Welcoming the announcement by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao of the sanctioning of Rs 10 crores for the Reddy hostel complex at Budvel, Telangana TDP official spokesperson Nannuri Narsireddy said that the former was however spending more money on the publicity than on the initiative itself.
The daily newspapers have had full-page jacket ads about the complex.
Narsireddy said that the Chief Minister was trying to enact a new drama in the name of a foundation stone for the proposed Reddy hostel bhavan.
"KCR is misleading the people with the announcements of buildings for different castes. Why had he not completed the construction of the buildings for which he has laid foundation stones so far? What happened to the bhavans for SCs and STs and Christians, and the Komaram Bheem bhavan, which have remained incomplete?" the TDP leader asked.
Narsireddy alleged that KCR was merely misleading the people by spending crores of rupees of tax-payers' money for publicity.
