Targeting Congress MP Lagadapati Rajagopal's survey results, which gave an edge to the Praja Kutami in the upcoming Telangana Assembly elections, TRS boss and Telangana caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao today said that there was no truth in the results, and asked the people not to believe such fake and false surveys.
Addressing a public meeting at Gajwel, KCR claimed that some leaders, under the pressure of TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, were trying to misguide the people with distorted numbers.
His remarks gain significance as Lagadapati had earlier announced that TRS had an edge over the rest in the upcoming elections. KCR claimed that Lagadapati had twisted the numbers at the behest of Naidu.
Stating that he had toured in 118 of the 119 Assembly constituencies and that Gajwel was the 119th constituency, KCR declared that the TRS would win 100 seats. He also claimed that the people of Gajwel said that the TRS would once again come to power.
KCR said that after coming to power, the TRS government would build two-bedroom houses and give two milch buffaloes for everyone in Gajwel. He also promised to irrigate two lakh acres of land, set up food processing units, give jobs to the women SHGs, and bring in pollution-free industries.
He appealed to the people not to give power to the leaders of other states.
