KCR Release Rs 2,931.18 Crore For Aasara Pensions
Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao today sanctioned the release Rs 2,931.18 crore for the payment of the Aasara pensions.

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao today directed the concerned officials to provide timely pensions to all the beneficiaries of the government's Aasara pension scheme.
Later in the day, Panchayat Raj Minister E Dayakar Rao announced that following KCR's instructions, the state's finance department had sanctioned the release of Rs 2,931.18 crore towards the payment of the pensions of the scheme's beneficiaries.
"The CM's efforts will enable a total of 38,72,717 beneficiaries, including retired employees, the elderly, disabled individuals, single women, beedi workers, weavers, toddy tappers, and Filariasis and HIV patients, to receive their pensions without any delays. This shows the TRS government's commitment to the welfare of the people of Telangana," he said.
