TRS leader Palle Rajeshwar Reddy today claimed that the suggestions made by the Telangana government to the Centre on demonetization woes brought respite to the State and its people.
Addressing a press conference at the TRS Legislature Party office, Reddy claimed that the Centre relaxed note ban norms for some time at the behest of the young State. He recalled that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to relax stringent policies made after the note ban, for farmers, agriculture markets, small business and petrol bunks, and sought an increase of loan amount to Rs. 24,000 for farmers.
The TRS leader rebuked the Opposition's claim that the government would not discuss financial issues in the upcoming Assembly. The government would conduct an Assembly session later this December to address all money woes, he promised.
Reddy also said that there was no actual content in the allegations being levelled against the ruling Party. Unlike the previous united AP governments, the Telangana government passed every bill introduced in the Assembly.
He concluded the talk by saying that the winter session would focus on problems of the people and would not take up issues of corruption.
