Telangana TDP president L Ramana today alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had made a once-rich Telangana poor by his faulty policies.
Speaking to the media, Ramana took serious exception to the ruling Party admitting TDP Rajya Sabha member Gundu Sudharani into its ranks. He alleged that Sudharani was taken into the TRS keeping in view the Warangal by-election.
He also asserted that KCR did not fulfill even one promise made in the last elections.
He also complained that eight lakh voters' names had been deleted from the rolls in Hyderabad for the GHMC elections.
The name of the TDP-BJP combine candidate for the Warangal Lok Sabha by-election would be announced on Monday, Ramana said.
TDP senior leader Ravula Chandrasekhar Reddy too hit out at the Telangana CM. He alleged that the selfish decision of KCR had caused the by-election to the Warangal Lok Sabha constituency.
Speaking to the media, Ravula expressed confidence that the TDP-BJP combine candidate would win the Warangal by-election by a huge margin.
He also alleged that the bye-election for the Sanathnagar Assembly seat was not being conducted though constitutionally there was a need of it. KCR was afraid to hold the election, the TDP leader said.
Taking another dig at KCR, Ravula asked whether the people should vote for the TRS for the suicides of 1,000 farmers that it caused.
