Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao today inaugurated several buildings in the Suryapet district headquarters.
The CM, who reached Suryapet from Hyderabad in a special helicopter on Sunday afternoon, first inaugurated the main buildings of the medical college built at a cost of Rs 156 crore. The buildings have been constructed as part of the medical college that is coming up at a cost of Rs 500 crore.
Later, the CM inaugurated an integrated model market built at a cost of Rs 30.18 crore on the premises of an old agricultural market, and inspected the facilities by moving around the entire market.
KCR then inaugurated the BRS Suryapet district office and extended congratulations to the party's district president Bollam Mallaiah Yadav. He then inaugurated the district police office constructed at a cost of Rs 38.5 crore in 20 acres of land in the town.
After that, the CM participated in the inauguration of the Integrated Collectorate Complex built at a cost of Rs 50 crore in 21 acres of land in the town.
The district Collector S Venkata Rao was seated in his chair in his chambers at the new complex and congratulated by the Chief Minister and accompanying ministers.
