Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Wednesday inaugurated the temporary party office of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) at Sardar Patel Marg in New Delhi.
KCR hoisted the party flag and formally occupied the seat in the party president's office.
Before the inauguration program, the Chief Minister along with his wife Shobha participated in a Rajasyamala Yagam, a Purnahuti and other rituals at the office.
The building will serve as the party's temporary office till the party constructs a permanent building at Vasant Vihar in Delhi.
Former Karnataka chief minister and JD (S) leader H D Kumaraswamy; former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav; several leaders of farmers' unions; Telangana ministers, MLAs and MLCs; and many leaders of the BRS attended the ceremony.
