KCR, Governor, Others Wish People On Eve Of Ugadi
On the eve of the Telugu New Year Day, several top leaders greeted the people of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

On the eve of the upcoming Ugadi, the Telugu New Year Day (for the year named Sri Vikari Nama Samvatsaram), on April 6, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Governor E S L Narasimhan today conveyed his wishes to the people of the two Telugu States.
In a communication, the Governor said, "On the happy and auspicious occasion of the Telugu New Year day, I extend my warmest greetings to the people of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and to the Telugu people across the world. Ugadi is a festival of joy and hope, and the New Year shall bring with it new cheer and a bright future. I am confident that Sri Vikari Nama Samvatsaram will usher in peace, prosperity, harmony and happiness to all people and sections of the society." (sic)
Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao too conveyed Ugadi greetings to all the people of Telangana.
In a message, KCR said, "I pray the Almighty to bless the State and its people with happiness and prosperity."
YSR Congress Party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy too extended his wishes, to all the Telugu people. He wished everyone a very happy Ugadi and said that he had prayed for the farmers, the poor people, the commoners, the workers, and people from all strata of society.
Reddy, his mother and YSRCP honorary president Y S Vijayamma, and sister Y S Sharmila decided to take a break from their hectic election campaigning for the day. Jagan said that he would celebrate Ugadi in his new home in Amaravathi along with his family members.
