Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao and Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan conveyed their greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion tomorrow of Ugadi.
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has conveyed his greetings to the people of the state on the auspicious occasion tomorrow of Ugadi, marking the commencement of the Telugu year of Subhakrithu.
The Chief Minister expressed hope that Telangana would witness even more progress in all sectors in the year to come as the irrigation facilities had improved across the state due to the completion of many projects.
Stating that Ugadi marked the commencement of the agriculture season, the CM said that his government had given utmost priority to the agriculture and irrigation sectors ever since Telangana state came into being, and that the state had witnessed phenomenal growth in agriculture within the short span of time.
Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan too greeted people.
"On this happy and auspicious occasion of Ugadi, the Telugu New Year day, I extend my warmest greetings to the people of Telangana and to the Telugu people across the world. Ugadi is a festival of joy and hope, and the New Year will bring with it new cheer and a bright future. I am confident that Sri Subhakritu nama samvatsaram will usher in peace, prosperity, harmony, health and happiness to all people and sections of the society. I appeal to all the people to celebrate this festival duly following the appropriate Covid-19 behaviour," she said.
