Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Thursday expressed hoped that the newly inaugurated CMO Pragathi Bhavan would become a platform for creating a blueprint for the development of the State.
He said that the Janahitha Conference hall, which was a part of the building complex, would immensely help him to interact with a cross section of people from all hues to formulate government policies and programs, and monitor the implementation of welfare schemes.
He said that people often faced problems in their day-to-day life and a direct interaction with them would help to solve their problems and show solutions to them. All walks of people: women, farmers, artisans, workers and a host of others would now be able to attend the direct interactions to be held on regular intervals at the conference hall. The State government would provide them with travel expenses required to travel to Hyderabad.
The government would also utilise the opportunity to find out how several government schemes and programs were being implemented at the field-level, and accordingly the State government would modify its action plan, the CM said.
After the formal inauguration of the CMO, KCR held a review meeting on the aims and objectives of the Bhavan.
Ministers K T Rama Rao, T Harish Rao, Jagadeeshwar Reddy, Laxma Reddy, Rajya Sabha Member K Keshav Rao, Legislative Council Chief Whip Sri Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, Mission Bhagiratha Vice Chairman Sri Vemula Prashanth Reddy, MLC Sri Srinivas Reddy and others attended the review meeting.
