KCR Asks Suresh Prabhu To Hasten Railway Projects
The Telangana CM mentioned to Union Minister for Railways Suresh Prabhu, the various incomplete projects and other issues pending with the railways.

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has brought to the notice of the Union Minister for Railways Suresh Prabhu, the various incomplete railway projects and several other issues pending with the railways.
The Union Minister, along with South Central Railway General Manager P K Srivastava, called on the Chief Minister at the secretariat this afternoon.
The Chief Minister also told the Union Minister that there was a need for a drastic change in the approach of the railway department, and in the process suggested several measures to be initiated and taken up by the railway ministry.
He said that in view of the increasing population of Hyderabad and Secunderabad, the Moulali and Nagulapally railway stations needed to be upgraded and developed into full-fledged terminal stations in order to ease the pressure on the Secunderabad railway station.
The Chief Minister also requested the Union Minister to change the name of the present A P Express to Telangana Express, and rename the existing Telangana Express after Komaram Bheem.
The Union Minister responded positively, and assured the Chief Minister that he would have a meeting on the issues raised and the pending projects in general, and on Hyderabad's needs in particular.
Advisor to Government K V Ramanachary, State Government Representative in Delhi Venugopala Chary, Planning Board Vice-Chairman Niranjan Reddy, Principal Secretary to CM S Narsing Rao, Municipal Administration Principal Secretary M G Gopal, GHMC Special Officer Somesh Kumar, Transport Principal Secretary Sunil Sharma and Hyderabad Metro Rail's N V S Reddy were present when the Union Minister called on the Chief Minister.
