Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was reported to be doing well, and was discharged from Yashoda Hospital, Somajiguda, today after a health checkup.
The CM, who fell ill on Friday, went to the hospital in Somajiguda and underwent several screening tests under the supervision of his family doctor Dr M V Rao.
The doctors at the hospital also conducted an angiogram and a brain MRI on the CM.
The doctors finally came to the conclusion that the CM did not have any cardiac problem, and needed rest as he suffered from pain in his left hand and leg due to a cervical sprain.
They opined that the continuous tours and speeches had most likely gotten KCR tired, and asked him to take rest for a week to regain complete health.
Dr M V Rao in a health bulletin had said earlier, "We do regular checkups for the CM in the month of?February every year. The CM said that he had been feeling weak for the past two days?and was also suffering from a slight pain in the left arm and the left leg. We have performed normal health checkups, and are conducting a CT scan and an angiogram as a part of routine checkup. We will decide what to do depending on the report. The CM is stable, and this is just a preventive check-up."
