Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao will visit New Delhi on a four-day tour from February 4.
According to the Special Representative of Telangana in New Delhi S Venugopal Chary, during his visit the Chief Minister is likely to meet 10 union ministers in the capital to make representations related to their departments.
He will also attend the meeting of Niti Aayog to be chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 8.
Besides requesting the Centre to expedite the release of funds meant for the State, KCR will urge the Centre to provide an additional 500 MW of power immediately and allocate sufficient coal for the power projects of Telangana.
It may be mentioned that KCR had written a letter to the Prime Minister on Tuesday seeking allotment of power and coal to Telangana. (INN)
