The toll on Sunday's tragic
derailment of the Kalka Mail in Uttar Pradesh's Fatehpur district has gone up to 63 so far.
The Kalka Mail, moving at a speed of 108 kmph, had derailed at 12:20 pm on Sunday near Malwa station, about 120 kms from Lucknow.
Many people are still trapped in the debris of the coaches, and almost 100 Army men have been called into action to take part in the rescue operations.
The body of a Swedish citizen, Wick, was also found in the remains. His co-passenger, Oscar, was injured in the mishap. Another Swedish national is missing.
Investigations found no fault with the tracks, whose fish plates were intact at the time of the accident. The signals were functioning normally, too.

This is the second derailment in UP this month. On July 7, the Mathura-Chhapra Express had collided with a bus carrying a marriage party, at an unmanned railway crossing at Adhurpur at Kanshiram Nagar, about 250 km from Lucknow. The accident left 38 bus passengers dead.
