Station Ghanpur MLA Kadiyam Srihari today strongly denied allegations of land grabbing levelled against him in Warangal district.
He dismissed the claims by some BRS leaders accusing him of illegally occupying land in the Devunuru hills.
"I have not engaged in any wrongdoing in my 30 years of political life. The BRS leaders are spreading false and baseless allegations, claiming I have encroached on 2,000 acres, without any evidence," he said.
"There is a malicious campaign suggesting that I intend to transfer lands to benami individuals. If it can be proven that I have encroached upon any land, I will resign as MLA and work as a servant in the homes of BRS MLA Palla Rajeshwar Reddy and former MLA Rajaiah. But if these allegations remain unproven, will they serve me in return?" he said.
"I will take legal action against these baseless accusations," he added.
For context, Srihari had won the Station Ghanpur seat on a BRS ticket, but later defected to the ruling Congress.
