Corruption Rampant In Kadapa: CPI

CPI State Secretary K Narayana has stated that the official machinery is being misused in the campaign for the upcoming by-elections in Kadapa.

Communist Party Of India (CPI) State Secretary K Narayana on Friday demanded that the Congress Party MLAs supporting YSR Congress Party President Y S Jaganmohan Reddy resign from their posts.

When asked to comment on the Congress - Praja Rajyam Party (PRP) merger, Dr. Narayana said that it is an immoral association, and accused party President K Chiranjeevi of being insensitive to the feelings of the people of Telangana.

He further stated that the official machinery is being misused in the campaign for the upcoming by-elections in Kadapa, and demanded that the government keep tabs on the money being spent by various parties during the campaigning, and also on the flow of cash and liquor into the district.
