The Principal Sessions Court, on Monday, extended the judicial remand of evangelist and Praja Shanti party founder K A Paul, to upto 25 June.
K A Paul was arrested for allegedly conspiring to murder his brother David Raju.
The Sessions Court announced this decision after officials produced Paul in the court following the expiry of his remand.
Earlier, the court dismissed Paul's bail petition, as the police had produced recorded a telephonic conversation that allegedly took place between Paul and Koteswara Rao, the main accused in David Raju's murder case, in the court.
The court, while extending Paul's judicial remand, granted Prison Transit warrant to shift him to Ongole from Mahbubnagar in connection with investigations. (INN)
