Justice Sujoy Paul, a senior judge of the Telangana High Court, was appointed the Chief Justice of the State.
Justice Aloke Aradhe, who served as the Chief Justice of the court until now, has been transferred as the Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court.
Justice Paul was born on June 21, 1964. He holds B Com, MA and LLB degrees. He had enrolled with the Madhya Pradesh Bar Council in 1990 and served various institutions, including banks, the Human Rights Commission and other organizations.
He was appointed as an Additional Judge of the Madhya Pradesh High Court on May 27, 2011, and was promoted to permanent judge on April 14, 2014. Following the recommendation of the Supreme Court Collegium, he was transferred to the Telangana High Court as a judge on March 21, 2024.
