Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Saturday called on Minister For Endowments Jupally Krishna Rao at the Nizam's Institute Of Medical Sciences where he was undergoing treatment for the injuries he suffered due to an accident which had occurred late on Friday night.
Kiran Kumar Reddy spoke to the doctors who were giving treatment to Krishna Rao for the injuries he had received when a Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation bus rammed into his car at Machavaram village, Jadcherla mandal in Mahabubnagar district. The minister was on his way to Hyderabad from Kolapur when the incident took place.
Krishna Rao had received injuries on his head and hands, and was left bleeding from the nose. He also suffered a wound near his eye.
He had been rushed to the SVS Hospital in Mahabubnagar where he was given first aid. The minister was then shifted to the NIMS to continue his treatment.
The Chief Minister wished a speedy recovery to his cabinet colleague. Meanwhile, the police has registered a case and is investigating the accident.
