The countdown to the wedding of film actor Junior NTR with Lakshmi Pranathi will begin on February 13th with the elders of both the families gathering at the residence of the bride to write the 'Lagna Patrika'.
The 'Lagna Patrika' is considered as one of the most important events before a marriage is solemnized.
After writing the 'Lagna Patrika', the families will fix the marriage date and the venue where the wedding will be conducted.
The popular film actor had got engaged to Lakshmi Pranathi, daughter of Narne Srinivasa Rao, a few months ago.
According to sources, the tentative date for the marriage has been fixed on May 5th, but this will be finalized only after the 'Lagna Patrika' has been written.
The marriage had attracted controversy earlier on January 29th when an advocate had approached a court in Machilipatnam with a petition to stop the wedding, stating that the bride-to-be was a minor.
Admitting the petition for hearing, the Legal Services Authority had served notices to Junior NTR, Narne Srinivasa Rao and Telugu Desam Party President Nara Chandrababu Naidu. (Naidu is related to both Junior NTR and Narne Srinivasa Rao).
However, relatives close to the bride-to-be had rubbished the argument, and had said that the wedding would take place only after she had attained the age of 18 (Lakshmi Pranathi will turn 18 on March 26th).
