Campaigning on behalf of party candidates in the elections to the Karnataka Legislative Assembly, the Lok Satta Party's national president Dr. Jayaprakash Narayan is all set to undertake a 20 km walk around South Bengaluru on Saturday, April 27.
He will cover HSR Layout, Mangammanapalya, BTM Layout, Bommanhalli, Bannerghatta Road, JP Nagar and Arekere, and take part in a public meeting at Hebbal.
Srinivas Alavilli of the party's central campaign team claims that Lok Satta's candidates have been receiving a good public response.
"A large number of youth and women are campaigning for the candidates on their own. 'Whistle hoodi, munde nadi' (Blow the whistle and forge ahead) has become a popular slogan," he said. (The Lok Satta Party has allotted the whistle symbol.) (INN)
