Claiming that BRS working president K T Rama Rao was telling blatant lies about his ownership of a farmhouse situated at Janwada village of Rangareddy district, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) working president and MLC Mahesh Kumar Goud today asserted that the farmhouse belonged to the BRS leader.
Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan, Goud alleged that KTR was trying to escape by telling complete lies, and that the land on which the Janwada farmhouse lay was in the name of KTR's wife Shailima.
"If KTR has the courage, he should allow the demolition of the farmhouse constructed on FTL of water bodies. In the police records it has been clearly mentioned that the farmhouse belongs to KTR," Goud said.
The Congress MLC said that the farmhouse was constructed illegally by demolishing nalas which constituted the catchment areas of two major lakes - Himayat Sagar and Osman Sagar.
Goud appreciated Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for constituting the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA), and said that the CM was taking stringent action against illegal structures.
