Jagga Reddy Asks AICC To Appoint New TPCC Chief Soon

The list of probables for the next TPCC president is increasingly becoming a bone of contention among Congress leaders in Telangana.

MLA T Jayaprakash Reddy, known commonly as Jagga Reddy, who has already expressed his anger over the non-inclusion of his name in the list of suitable candidates for the post, wrote a letter today to Congress national president Sonia Gandhi and Telangana AICC in-charge Manickam Tagore regarding the appointment.

Accusing the saffron party of using the TRS and the MIM to polarise the people of Telangana in order to consolidate its own position in the state, he claimed that though it had been experiencing a surge in its popularity, the party did not have supporters in Nagarjunasagar, and could, therefore, be defeated with adequate preparation.
