Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jaganmohan Reddy today gave good news to the employees of the state government.
He gave the green signal for the payment of full salaries to all the employees of the state government from the month of May.
The officials of the state government issued orders to the treasury department to do the needful.
The treasury department will make the necessary changes to its CFMS software.
It has also been learnt that the CM is likely to take a decision on the payment of the unpaid part of the salaries of the last two months very soon.
The employees and the employee unions of the state expressed their happiness over the decision of the CM.
For the uninitiated, the state government had decided to defer payment of 50% of the salaries of the employees in March and April following the imposition of the lockdown in the state, stating poor revenues.
