Congress leader Tulasi Reddy on Saturday appreciated party nemesis and Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy for reportedly stating that the YSR Congress Party does not have the strength (in numbers) required to topple the government.
Telugu Desam Party (TDP) President had on Friday
challenged Jagan to move the no-confidence motion against the Congress, and to have the YSR Congress Party MLAs meet the Governor about the same.
The YSR Congress Party had responded to this request by pointing out that the TDP was the major opposition party in the state, which made moving the no-confidence motion the latter's responsibility.
Tulasi Reddy stated that Jagan had said that his (Jagan's) party could not move a no-confidence motion against the Congress. The Congress leader opined that Jagan, who had thus far flattered himself with unwarranted praise had finally acknowledged the fact that he was no match for the Congress.
