YSR Congress Party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, accompanied by his family members, exercised his franchise in Pulivendula of Kadapa district today.
Jagan was one of the early persons to cast their votes, at Bakarapuram in Pulivendula mandal. Wearing a white shirt, Jagan entered the polling station amidst considerable brouhaha.
Speaking to mediapersons later, the YSRCP chief appealed to voters to vote without fear and to vote for change. Asked about the transfer of the DGP, Jagan said that the YSRCP had made a request but it was not considered by the EC.
YSRCP Honorary President Y S Vijayamma also came out to vote. She appealed to the people to vote for a credible party that would bring a welfare State, and told the media that she expected a positive change. Jagan's sister Sharmila and his wife Bharathi also cast their votes.
