Jagan Constitutes Farmers' Protection Committee

YSR Congress Party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy on Thursday constituted a Farmers' Protection Committee to protect the interests of the farmers as land acquisition happens for Andhra Pradesh's new capital.

According to a YSRCP release, the committee would tour the areas which were likely to be acquired for the construction of the new capital, and would stand by the farmers and protect their rights.

The committee members include Ummareddy Venkateswarlu, Dharmana Prasada Rao, Parthasarathy, Ambati Rambabu, Kodali Nani, Marri Rajasekhar, Gottipati Ravi Kumar and Alla Ramakrishna Reddy. (INN)
