The Central Bureau of Investigation has filed a memo seeking judicial custody for former ministers B Dharmana Prasada Rao, and P Sabitha Indra Reddy with respect to the Disproportionate Assets(DA) case.
The CBI has mentioned, in the memo, that the two accused speaking to the media will affect the investigation process. As evidence, the CBI has submitted the CDs showing that the two former ministers speaking to media, to the court.
While Mopidevi Venkataramana is in jail, the other two ministers named in the charge sheet are outside, and CBI?s memo says that their interaction with the press may hamper the investigation. (INN)
