IT Raids On Hetero Offices Continue

The officials of the department opened 16 lockers of the company in Secunderabad and Srinagar Colony and discovered over Rs. 30 crore of cash.

The Income Tax (IT) department officials' raids on the properties of tainted pharma company Hetero Drugs are continuing.

The sleuths of the department opened 16 lockers of the company in Secunderabad and Srinagar Colony and discovered huge amounts of cash.

The officials reportedly seized Rs. 30 crore in cash found in the lockers.

The department has confiscated Rs. 172 crore from the properties of the pharma major during the last six days. Its officials are now investigating the suspicious transactions of Rs. 550 crore.

The officials have served notices on the management of the company and asked them to appear before it on October 20.
