In a sign of the times that we live in, idols of Rama, Sita and Lakshmana were stolen from the Ramalayam in Pendyala village Kanchikacharla mandal, Krishna district.
For all those people who give the benefit of doubt to the Lord over everything that happens in this world, here's more reason to reinforce their efforts.
In a sign of the times that we live in, unidentified miscreants made away with idols of Lord Rama, His consort Sita and His brother Lakshmana from the Ramalayam temple at Pendyala village of Kanchikacharla mandal in Krishna district, late on Saturday night.
According to the police, the theft of the idols came to light when the priest opened the locks of the temple around 10am on Sunday morning. He immediately informed the police who rushed to the spot.
The brass idols are estimated to be centuries old, and their market value would be difficult to estimate. A case has been registered.
