Sairaj, the TDP MLA from Ichchapuram of Srikakulam district, joined the YSR Congress Party on Wednesday.
Sairaj, who recently met party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy at Chanchalguda jail, took the membership of the YSRCP in the presence of the party's honourary president Y S Vijayamma, at her Lotus Pond residence in Hyderabad.
Along with Sairaj, the party's Srikakulam district unit convener Dharmana Padma Priya and MLA Dharmana Krishna Das, also called on Vijayamma. She asked them to work for the success of the party's candidates in the forthcoming local body elections. (INN)
