Minor Dead In Train Accident

A 13-year-old boy dies on being hit by a train while he was crossing the tracks.

A 13-year-old student died on the spot after he was hit by a train while he was trying to cross the track.

The accident occurred on Saturday evening between the Hitech city and Borabanda railway stations when the deceased was trying to cross the tracks. The deceased was later identified as K Venkatesh (13), a seventh standard student, son of Prasad and resident of the JNNURM colony in Kukatpally.

Railway Police, Nampally, registered a case under section 174 CRPC and the dead body was shifted to the Osmania Hospital Mortuary for postmortem. After autopsy, the body of the deceased was handed over to his relatives. (INN)
