A 30-year-old contract laborer died of injuries after he was hit by a train while he was trying to cross the track.

The accident occurred on Wednesday morning at the Nature Cure railway station while the deceased was trying to cross the track when suddenly a train hit him.

He received multiple injuries and died on the spot. The deceased was later identified as M Nirmal Kishore (30) son of Ramesh, a contract laborer at IDL and a resident of Subhash nagar.

The Nampally railway police have registered a case and after an autopsy was performed, the deceased's body has been handed over to his relatives. (INN)
