Hyderabad Software Engineer Murdered In USA
The young engineer, 25, hailing from the Sultan Bazaar area, was murdered by another Hyderabadi, Sai Sandeep Goud, in Austin, Texas, USA.

A young Indian software engineer Sankirth Gundam, 25, hailing from the Sultan Bazaar area in Hyderabad, was murdered in the USA.
He was the son of Gundam Vijay Kumar, a supervisor of the Government Primary Health Centre in the Nalgonda district, and Ramadevi, a couple residing in the Arya Samaj Lane, Badi Chowdi, Sultan Bazar.
Sankirth, a B. Tech. graduate from the MVSR Engineering College, went to America for an MS in computer science two-and-a-half years ago, and after that got a job in and was staying at Austin in Texas. He was reportedly murdered in his room on Monday.
It is learnt that one Sai Sandeep Goud joined Sankirth's room as a roommate some 15 days ago, and that he allegedly killed Sankirth with a knife.
The American police are interrogating Goud after detaining him.
The incident came to light when the parents of Sankirth were informed of the murder on the phone this morning.
