The fourth anniversary of Telangana was celebrated by HMRL with its MD N V S Reddy unfurling the national flag at Metro Rail Bhavan, Begumpet, today.
Speaking on the occasion, Reddy said that both Telangana and the Hyderabad Metro Rail project in PPP mode were considered impossible, but due to relentless struggle, perseverance and hard work, they had become a reality and won appreciation the world over.
Though still in their early days, both had achieved tremendous progress and set several new benchmarks in development, he claimed.
Reddy announced that trial runs for the Ameerpet - L B Nagar stretch (16 km) of Corridor I would start soon, and said that works are also going on at a brisk pace on the Ameerpet - Hitec City section (10 km) of Corridor III and the JBS - MGBS section (10 km) of Corridor II.
