Telangana Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy on Tuesday indicated that the TRS Lok Sabha MPs might resign in protest against the Centre's move to delegate special powers over the law & order in Hyderabad to the Governor.
Speaking to media persons on the sidelines of the meeting of the State Home guards Association, Nayani said that he would not hesitate to quit from his post in protest against the Centre's attitude.
Further, he said that the TRS MPs too would tender mass resignations if the Centre tried to encroach upon the rights of the Telangana government.
However, he said that a final decision on the strategy would be adopted after the Telangana MPs' meeting with Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on August 18.
Nayani said that the Centre would not be allowed to usurp the rights of the Telangana government. (INN)
