The South Central Railway will run Hyderabad-Kolhapur Special Train from 2nd April to 2nd June, 2011, to accommodate the extra passenger traffic.
In order to accommodate the extra rush of passenger traffic, South Central Railway (SCR) will run a special train between Hyderabad and Kolhapur, 4 days a week, from 2nd April to 2nd June, 2011, according to the following schedule:
Train No. 07143, Hyderabad - Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus (Kolhapur) special train will depart from Hyderabad on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 2nd April to 31st May, 2011, at 11:30pm, from Begumpet at 11:42pm, and arrive at the Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus (Kolhapur) at 10:45pm the next day.
In the return direction, Train No. 07144, Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus (Kolhapur) – Hyderabad special train will depart from the Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus (Kolhapur) on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, from 4th April to 2nd June, 2011, at 7:30am, and arrive at Begumpet at 3:15am, and at Hyderabad at 4:00am, on the next day.
Enroute, this special train will also stop at Sanat Nagar, Lingampally, Shankarpalli, Vikarabad, Tandur, Nawandgi, Kurgunta, Seram, Malkhaid Road, Chittapur, Nalwar, Yadgir, Narayanpet Road, Krishna, Raichur, Mantralayam Road, Adoni, Guntakal, Bellary, Toranagallu, Hospet, Koppal, Gadag, Hubli Jn., Dharwad, Londa, Belgaum, Ghataprabha, Raybag, Kudachi, Miraj and Hatkanangale, in both the directions.
The special train will comprise of one AC 2-tier, one AC 3-tier, 3 sleeper class, 3 general second class and 2 second class luggage-cum-brake van coaches, totaling to 10.
