The Hyderabad High Court put under suspension two judges who spearheaded a "Chalo Raj Bhavan" agitation on Sunday protesting the allocation of judicial officers between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
The High Court issued an order today suspending Telangana Judicial Officers Association President and Hyderabad Additional Metropolitan judge K Ravinder Reddy and Association General Secretary Vara Prasad.
The High Court's action follows the stir by Telangana judges against the provisional list of judicial officers allocated to the two States.
Following the HC order, the Telangana judges started another agitation protesting the suspensions. It may also be recalled that the agitating Telangana judges had already submitted their resignations en masse asking for the provisional allocation list to be recalled.
