Four Arrested In Veterinarian Priyanka Reddy Murder
The case of the brutal murder of 27-year-old veterinary doctor Priyanka Reddy in the city appears to be getting unravelled.

The case of the brutal murder of 27-year-old veterinary doctor Priyanka Reddy in the city appears to be getting unravelled.
The police claim to have made significant progress, and four persons have been nabbed.
The police are suspecting that the accused kidnapped Reddy near the toll plaza and took her to a secluded place in the area located behind the plaza, to rape her, and subsequently strangulated and killed her.
The police have named Mohammed Pasha, a native of Jakkulare from Makthal mandal of Mahbubnagar district, the prime accused in the case.
They also named Naveen, Shiva and Chennakesavulu as other suspects.
Naveen and Pasha are lorry drivers, and Shiva and Chennakesavulu are cleaners.
All four of them have been arrested, and the police have claimed that they have confessed to the crime.
The police have also identified the lorry with number TS07 UA 3335 reportedly used by the accused. The lorry is said to belong to one Srinivas Reddy, a native of Rajendra Nagar.
All the accused are less than 25 years in age.
Doctors have said that the victim was murdered in the early hours of Thursday, and that her body was then burnt in an underpass near Chatanpally village in Shadnagar, 60 km from Hyderabad.
They added that the body of the victim would have kept burning for one hour.
Doctors have also found injuries on the head of the victim.
Meanwhile, the father of the victim Sridhar Reddy demanded that the State government impose strict punishment on the accused for murdering his daughter. He said that no parents in the State should face such an experience in their lives. He said that had the police reacted immediately following their complaint, they could have saved their daughter.
The mother of the victim wanted the perpetrators to be burnt in public.
The Chairperson of the National Commission For Women also reacted to the brutal murder. Rekha Sharma said that the Commission was taking up the case suo moto, and sending a member to carry out an enquiry in the issue.
She demanded capital punishment for all the accused in the case.
Minister P Sabitha Indra Reddy visited the residence of the victim and consoled her family members. She said that the State government would take all necessary steps to see that the strictest possible punishment was given to all the perpetrators.
