The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation on Friday announced an ex-gratia amount of Rs. 1 lakh to the bereaved family members of the Dilsukhnagar twin blast victims.

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation on Friday announced an ex-gratia amount of Rs. 1 lakh to the bereaved family members of the Dilsukhnagar twin blast victims.

In a note to GHMC Commissioner M T Krishna Babu, Mayor Mohammad Majid Hussain recommended the payment of an ex-gratia amount of Rs. 1 lakh each to the 16 families who lost their dear ones in the terror attack at Disukhnagar on Thursday evening.

This is for the first time that a municipal corporation has paid ex-gratia to the victims of a terror attack. (INN)
