Mayor Visits Families Of Dilsukhnagar Blast Victims
GHMC Mayor Mohammed Majid Hussain on Friday visited the family of deceased GHMC UCD Wing Superintendent Ramulu, who was killed in the Dilsukhnagar twin blasts on Thursday evening.

GHMC Mayor Mohammed Majid Hussain on Friday visited the family of deceased GHMC UCD Wing Superintendent Ramulu, who was killed in the Dilsukhnagar twin blasts on Thursday evening, at the latter's residence at Jamia Osmania.
The Mayor also announced a Rs. 1 lakh ex-gratia and one Junior Assistant post to members of the families of the deceased. He further directed the GHMC Commissioner to settle the process at the earliest, in order to give the promised benefits to the bereaved families. He was accompanied by Deputy Mayor G Rajkumar and other officials.
Majid Hussain also visited the families of Venkateshwar Rao, Senior Assistant, Veterinary Department, at Saidabad, Aziz Ahmed at Prem Nagar of Amberpet and Mohd Rafi of Hafeez Baba Nagar and consoled the families.
GHMC Commissioner M T Krishna Babu, while addressing a condolence meeting arranged at the GHMC Head Office, said that no religion or no belief accepts the killing of innocents for achieving their goals. He has also informed that the GHMC will take up all necessary steps in order to make the bereaved families comfortable.
All the employees of GHMC Head Office assembled in front of the office and observed two minutes of silence for the peace of the soul of their former colleague Ramulu, who was killed in bomb blast. The Commissioner also informed that the employees of GHMC (the cadre of Junior Assistant to Commissioner including technical and non-technical) are contributing their half day's basic salary (which amounts to around Rs. 6.22 lakhs) to the bereaved family as a mark of solidarity.
