Hyderabad-Based Businessman Brutally Murdered

A Hyderabad-based businessman from Charminar, Madhusudhan Reddy, was brutally murdered some days ago.

A police enquiry into the incident has revealed that some close friends of the victim had kidnapped him and had later killed him.
The accused, identified as Sanju, Girish and Gadje, murdered the victim as he demanded that they return a loan of Rs 40 lakh that they had borrowed from him.

In an act of cold-bloodedness, after murdering their friend, the three had reportedly taken his corpse to Zaheerabad and buried his body in an agriculture field.

The group had kidnapped Reddy on August 19 with the help of a car driver, Jagannath, and had later asked him to pass of the disappearance as an abduction.

When he did not return home, the victim's family approached the police who launched an investigation into the matter. One of the accused persons has already been arrested and the police have formed special teams to nab the rest.

Meanwhile, some reports suggesting that Reddy was involved in a case pertaining to violations of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act in Andhra Pradesh have also surfaced.

Speaking on the matter, South Zone DCP Gajarao Bhupal stated that the police would reveal more details about the murder on Monday.
