12 Sex Workers Arrested At Bhagyanagar Bus Stop
The arrested individuals were bound over by the DCP, W&CSW, to ensure good behaviour.

In a late-night operation on March 28, 2025, the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) of Cyberabad, under the supervision of the Women & Child Safety Wing (W&CSW) DCP, arrested 12 sex workers at the Bhagyanagar bus stop, under the KPHB Metro Station.
Cases were registered against them at the Kukatpally, KPHB and Gachibowli police stations under the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956. The arrested individuals were bound over by the DCP, W&CSW, to ensure good behaviour.
A similar operation conducted earlier by the same special teams had led to the arrest of 16 individuals. Cases were registered at the respective police stations, and they were also bound over by the same DCP for good behaviour. They were subsequently released with notices issued under Section 35 of the BNSS Act.
The Cyberabad police has been aiming to strictly enforce laws against prostitution and related activities. No form of prostitution is reportedly being tolerated within the jurisdiction, and regular operations are being carried out to curb such illegal activities.
