Four youths allegedly gangraped a housewife at Government Junior College in Kalwakurthy on Monday night.

Four youths allegedly gangraped a housewife at Government Junior College in Kalwakurthy on Monday night.

According to the information received, four men from the Muslim community allegedly raped the married woman on the college premises.

The victim lodged a complaint by dialling 100 after escaping from them. The police rushed to the spot and registered a case against the youths.

On Tuesday morning, District Collector Sridhar and Superintendent of Police Sanpreeth Singh inspected the place where the woman was raped.

The SP said that stringent action would be taken against the offenders to see that such incidents did not recur.
