Home Guard Found Mysteriously Dead

A Home Guard was found mysteriously dead in his paramour Shoba's residence in Rajendranagar, Ranga Reddy district.

The body of a Home Guard was found under the Rajendranagar Police Station limits under mysterious circumstances on Thursday.

According to the Rajendranagar police, K Krishna, 24, hailing from the village of Shahpur was serving as a Home Guard in the city. He had undergone training at the Andhra Pradesh Police Academy (APPA) and belonged to the 2007 batch.

He was found hanging from a ceiling fan in the residence of Shobha, a divorcee.

Police believe that Krishna and Shobha were involved in a live-in relationship, and suspect that he committed suicide after a tiff with her.

Meanwhile, Krishna’s relatives raised doubts over whether he committed suicide. They alleged that the Home Guard might have been killed by his paramour. The Rajendranagar police have registered a case, and the investigation process is on. The body has been sent for post-mortem examination.
