The Visakha Kingfisher Fashion Week came to a crashing with many organizations protesting against the attire of models featuring portraits of Hindu gods and goddesses.

The Visakha Kingfisher Fashion Week came to a crashing with many organizations protesting against the attire of models featuring portraits of Hindu gods and goddesses.

The show was cancelled following a complaint by Vishwa Hindu Prishad leader Garimella Radhakrishna who expressed anger at the fact that of some of the outfits featured "caricatures of Hindu gods". ACP Venkat Rao said that they have registered a case, and that action would be taken in due course of time. (INN)
