The Hyderabad High Court once again censured the Telangana State government for its failure to remove the hoardings, banners and cutouts set up without permissions under the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) limits.
The High Court had earlier directed the State government to remove immediately such hoardings, banners and cutouts erected without prior permission. The court today heard again a plea on illegal hoardings. The government pleader informed the High Court that there were no hoardings erected without permission. Taking the note of the government pleader seriously, the High Court directed him to submit a report within two weeks and adjourned the hearing for two weeks.
It may be mentioned here that several political leaders have erected hoardings under the GHMC limits wishing other leaders on the latters' birthdays.
