HC Dismisses PIL Against Pragathi Nivedana Sabha
The Hyderabad High Court dismissed a PIL filed by the an environmental NGO challenging the permission given for the Pragathi Nivedana Sabha of the TRS.
The Hyderabad High Court on Friday dismissed a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed by the Nadigadda Paryavarana Parirakshna Samithi president P Sridhar challenging the permission given for the Pragathi Nivedana Sabha of the TRS.
The petitioner moved the court on the grounds that the rally would impact the greenery in the surroundings of Kongarakolam, the venue where the meeting will be organised on September 2.
He also contended that the rally would cause inconvenience to the common public.
The court however did not find any substance in his contention.
