Heat Keeps People Indoors In North Telangana

Hyderabad | 17th March 2022
It's just March and the day temperature in Telangana is increasing day after day, seemingly headed for record levels.

In some districts, the day temperature is already 40 to 42 degrees Centigrade. In north Telangana districts including Adilabad, Nizamabad, Ramagundam, Bhadrachalam and Mahbubnagar, the day temperature has reached 40 degrees. And Nalgonda district has touched 42 degrees, and the hot winds have turned people scared of coming out of their houses right from 10 am in several places.

Likewise, in Adilabad district, terrified farmers are returning home from the fields by 11 am itself, and the health authorities are advising people to take precautions. In Mancherial district, the miners in open cast mines are suffering from a lot of problems.

Even the Met officials are advising the people to avoid coming out of their homes unless it is unavoidable.

Given the situation in March, people are increasingly scared of what May will bring.
